Holiday Light Recycling Collection

Once again, Sustainable Moorestown partnered with Moorestown Hardware and Our Lady of Good Council Church (OLGC) to collect and recycle old decor lighting from residents. The lights are recycled as part of Burlington County’s electronic waste recycling program.

Last year we collected over 1,082 lbs thanks to you! Over the years we have been able to collect over 7,425 lbs of old lights for recycling that would have otherwise ended up in the landfill.

This year we started collecting on November 1, 2024, and will wrap up on February 15, 2025. There is a box inside the hardware store and one outside the OLGC Rectory where you can place your lights. Thank you for your recycling efforts!
