Holiday Light Recycling Collection

Once again, Sustainable Moorestown and Moorestown Hardware partnered to collect and recycle old decor lighting from residents. The lights were recycled as part of Burlington County’s electronic waste recycling program. This year we collected over 1,082 lbs thanks to you! Over the years we have been able to collect over 7,425 lbs of old lights for recycling that would have otherwise ended up in the landfill.

This year we plan to collect again, starting November 1, 2024.

Sustainable Moorestown is a volunteer organization comprised of Moorestown residents, small business owners, and other stakeholders passionate about sustainability.

Our mission is to promote the economic vitality, social equity, and environmental quality of Moorestown while acting as an Advisory Committee for the township. Through a diverse mix of projects and outreach initiatives focused on sustainability, Sustainable Moorestown works to develop ways to achieve prosperity while creating a long-term, sustainable environment for future generations.
