What to expect? In addition to vendors selling used or repurposed items, there’ll be green education, demonstrations and exhibits, food, and well, of course, the Tot Lot if you’re looking for some good old fashioned fun. A variety of non-profits, township committees, and representatives from a few township departments will also be on hand to answer your questions and talk a little bit about what they do.
If you haven’t already seen the NASA Geoscience Remote Sensing Mobile Lab, now’s your chance because the Green Giant has it for the day.
Come on over …. You never know what you might find or learn.
Take a look at the Green Giant Event Flyer here.
Also, on the same day, Lockheed Martin is hosting a Hazardous Waste Disposal event at 199 Borton Landing Road, Moorestown, from 9am-1pm. Take a look at their event flyer to see the types of waste being collected. Please take this opportunity to responsibly dispose of the hazardous materials that may no longer be needed in your home or garage.
And if that’s not enough “green” for one day, head over to the Moorestown Police Station from 10am-2pm to safely dispose of any unwanted prescription, OTC, and veterinary medications. More information here.
