The Department of Public Works is now accepting secondhand clothing, footwear, accessories and linen donation at our Department of Public Works, located at 601 East 3rd Street. Moorestown Township has partnered with Helpsy, an organization that collects, sorts, and trades secondhand clothes and shoes. In 2024 alone, our team collected over 32 million pounds of clothes, shoes, and other items.
For re-wear, reuse, and recycling, Helpsy accepts the items in any condition for all ages and genders so long as they are clean, dry, and odorless. Everything should be kept dry in a closed, plastic bag. Head to Helpsy’s What We Accept page to learn more. https://www.helpsy.com/
