UPDATE: Holiday Light Recycling Efforts!

Hello, Moorestown!

We want to thank you all for your efforts to keep Moorestown Sustainable, and for making sure to recycle your Christmas lights the correct way! We collected 1261 pounds of old Christmas lights – a record-breaking number since we first started the project. Together, we have successfully recycled 5525 pounds of old Christmas lights, and we hope to be able to continue this feat next year! We want to thank the Moorestown Hardware team for helping us collect the lights, and send a shout out to Wolf Skacel for driving and recycling the lights at the Burlington County Recycling Center. Recycling is a community issue, and we all can lend a hand to keep New Jersey Sustainable.
Until then, keep being sustainable and keep on recycling!

Sincerely,
The Sustainable Moorestown Team
